For families, there are plenty of outdoor activities, excursions suitable even for the little ones, and all kinds of sports. For the bravest and the older ones, there’s the beloved Adventure Park Cimone: with zip lines, bobsleds, rubber tube slides, trampolines, and the brand-new 250-metre zipline, fun is guaranteed!
The Valli del Cimone is a true paradise, offering a unique natural spectacle with trails through forests and peat bogs, beech forests and rocks, lakes, streams, and waterfalls. We recommend a trip to Lake Le Polle in Riolunato, Lake of the Nymph (Lago della Ninfa) in Sestola, and the Pollina Waterfalls. Let yourself be enchanted by the natural oases of the Parco del Frignano and breathe in the energy of the mountains. Everywhere you look, it’s pure magic.
In addition to natural areas, our region offers important historical and cultural attractions, starting from the ancient stone village of Riolunato and the nearby Moon Bridge, which overlooks a body of water where you can cool off. Nearby, you should also visit the Fortress of Sestola, the ancient and abandoned Marina Village in Montecreto, the Caselle Village in Fanano, and the famous Devil’s Bridge in Fiumalbo.
If you’re a sports enthusiast, you’ll find plenty of activities to fuel your passion. Starting with trekking on various hiking trails – don’t miss the Passo del Lupo! – on Mount Cimone, you can go mountain biking and downhill on dedicated routes or at the Cimone Bike Park, enjoy fishing and canoeing in various bodies of water, go horseback riding, rock climbing, tennis, paragliding, and hang gliding. You’ll be spoiled for choice!
